About Casa Miguel
Location, security and comfortable charm make Casa Miguel a great vacation rental in the heart of San Miguel. This newly remodeled and refurnished 3-bedroom townhouse is located in a gated compound mid-way between the Jardin and the Instituto Allende, with the Parque Juarez just half a block away. It is an easy, level walk to restaurants, shops and a good grocery store and deli.
Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, perfect for couples or singles with a king bed in the master, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and two twins in the third bedroom (which can be made up into a king-size bed if the renters request it).
The fully equipped modern kitchen looks into the shared entry patio of the compound and opens into the dining/living areas on the first level of the house. Unlike other townhouses in this complex, the first floor is all one level, with no little stairs up and down. The dining room table can seat 6, and the living room is the perfect cozy spot for reading or watching TV, complete with comfortable sofas, a fireplace, cable TV with U.S. channels and a DVD player. A small outdoor private patio is off the living room, offering good light and a tranquil vista of the corner stone fountain. A powder room is also on the first floor.
The master bedroom (with a little French balcony) and the second bedroom are on the second floor, and the third bedroom and a two-level roof terrace are reached on the third floor.
Casa Miguel has a ceramic-silver filtration system for purified drinking water out of every tap, but bottled water is also provided in the kitchen. High-speed wireless Internet connection is provided. The rental rate also includes local Telmex phone service, but it’s recommended that renters use Skype or their own mobile phones for any long-distance calls. Any long-distance calls that show up on the Telmex bill will be deducted from the renter’s security deposit.
Juana the maid comes Mon-Wed-Fri from 2:00 – 6:00 pm, allowing renters to sleep in later without disturbance. She cleans and does laundry, but no cooking.
A big plus for this house is secure, off-street parking in the back of the compound.
