About Casa Aleida
If location-location-location is most important to you, then Casa Aleida is the house for you!
Located in the first block of Calle Aldama behind the Parroquia, this lovely old Mexican home is built in the classic style, with rooms opening into a charming central patio complete with a cantera stone fountain and many potted plants.
The main house has two structures including living and dining rooms, the kitchen, a wonderful covered open-air sala, and three well-separated bedrooms, two with their own en-suite bathrooms (one with queen bed, the other with two twins) and outside terrace or patio access. The third is the master bedroom (with king bed), which has a terrace too, in additon to separate his/her bathrooms. All of the bedrooms also have fireplaces.
The whole house is full of charm and Mexican hospitality, but it is the beautiful open-air sala, in effect an outdoor living room with wood-burning fireplace, where you will spend most of your time!
This is San Miguel living at its best. The house is staffed with both a maid and a cook who come 6 days a week. Your rental includes the services of Maria Helena, who can cook your breakfast and mid-day comida Monday through Friday, and your breakfast on Saturday. For a special dinner, you can arrange for her to return in the evening to cook for an extra hourly rate. Teresa the chambermaid will clean the house, make your bed and do laundry. A handyman/gardener, Albano, comes twice a week to tend garden and do household chores.
All this, and you are staying in the heart of Centro, on one of the best streets in town, just steps away from fine shops and restaurants and the history of the inner city.
The house has Internet connection, TV with U.S. channels, lots of indoor/outdoor space, and a garage that is large enough for parking an SUV.
Older children are welcome, but no pets or BBQ dinners, please.

A 8% line item for Mexican taxes and administrative fees will be added to all rental rates.
Please note that a 20% holiday surcharge is added to all rental rates during Christmas, New Year's, Day of the Dead and Semana Santa (week before Easter).
