About Casa al Golpe de Vista

Casa al Golpe de Vista offers the visitor to San Miguel a peaceful urban oasis. Located within the gated Villas del Parque compound, it is just across the street from Parque Juarez and a four-block level walk south of the Jardin. This prime, privileged location includes a central garden for the compound, secure parking for two vehicles and easy on-foot access to The Rosewood Hotel (with its wonderful roof terrace and spa) as well as proximity to many of San Miguel's finest restaurants.

With three en-suite bedrooms (king in the master, two queens in the second bedroom and one queen in the third bedroom), Casa al Golpe de Vista can accommodate three couples comfortably or sleep a family group of up to eight people (if four don't mind sharing the room with two queen beds).

The house is spacious and full of light, with every room opening into a central courtyard that's lush with plantings and a stone fountain. There are several comfortable sitting areas besides the formal living room, including a patio sala on the ground level and a TV/family room upstairs. In addition to the TV room, there are other TVs in the master bedroom and the downstairs bedroom with the two queen beds.

Fine art, tile and stonework are found throughout the house. One enters into a foyer that leads to the patio sala and the lovely central courtyard. To the right are the granite kitchen, formal dining room and living room. Across the way are two bedrooms and the maid's area. Up a grand staircase are the master suite and the TV/family room, both opening to a covered terrace that has vistas all the way to the lovely Parroquia, San Miguel's landmark church.

Another covered dining terrace is accessible from a staircase in the cactus patio off the central courtyard.

Trini the maid comes five days a week Monday - Friday. For an extra fee of 100 pesos/hour, you can make arrangements for her to return in the evening (with good advance notice) to cook a special dinner for you. Her breakfast service is included in your rental rate for Monday - Friday, although you do pay extra for the actual food.
