Over the past five days, San Miguel has had four afternoon/evening rain showers, plus one large rain over night. Suffice it to say, we believe the 2009 rainy season is beginning earlier than usual this year. This is good news, as the daytime temperatures are now more moderate (high 70s/low 80s F) and the evenings are pleasantly cool (60sF). In addition, the rains have cut much of the dust and contributed to improving the overall air quality. As the countryside starts to turn a little bit green, the vistas across town and country are crystal clear and spectacular.
