The ride from Leon Airport into San Miguel now is 15 minutes quicker, thanks to a new country road that bypasses the reservoir (La Presa Allende). Travelers now enter San Miguel from the west, instead of around La Presa to the south, making the trip in one hour and 15 minutes.
